[May 17] Fight University of California's development of Hidrogen Bomb

Students at the University of California at Berkeley are doing a fast in solidarity with the UC Hunger Strike by UC Santa Barbara students opposed to the University's role in developing a new Hydrogen Bomb.

On May 17, the UC Regents will be meeting. The students at Berkeley have decided to go on a full hunger strike if the UC does not back out of their plans.

Info on attending the Regents meeting on Thursday, May 17th:

Schedule: 8 am - public comment period
If you'd like to make a one-minute statement to the Regents, please call their office during business hours to sign up: 510-987-9220.

10 am - Rally!
ARTivism! Join us outside the meeting for music, speeches, and beautiful art as we call on the Regents to adopt an emergency resolution to sever ties with the nuclear weapons labs.

11:20 - DOE lab oversight committee meets

12:00 - Press conference outside the meeting
